Our Carver's Bench combines the elements of versatility, stabilility, and mass needed for a Carver's Bench.
Suitable for both large and small carvings.
Bench top may be rotated through 360 and tilt from horizontal to vertical or any angle in between.
Bench top made of 1-3/4' thick laminated maple.
Bench top drilled with 3/4' holes to accept our bench dogs/pups and wonder dogs/pups, one wonder pup and bench pup are included with bench.
Bench top will clamp work pieces up to 26' square or 26' in diameter.
Base/legs made of cast iron for strength and added mass.
Spring-loaded tilt mechanism provides excellent counterbalance and easy operation with a readily accessible lock and release lever.
Extra tension rods for base included for large work pieces requiring added stability.
Bench top available separately for those wanting to build their own base.
