Carvers Screw

Tapered tip and high-profile threads securely grip workpieces repeatedly.
Turned from a solid bar of brass. Hex portion clamps securely in a vise to thread on a wood blank, or use a wrench.
Molded tightening knob has a low-friction brass insert.
5' long overall, this screw can be used on work surfaces up to 3-3/4' thick in a dog hole 1/2' in diameter or larger.
