A workshop air filtration system which should be used in conjunction with a dust extractor to provide a virtually dust free environment. The filter system is best used suspended from the ceiling in the centre of the workshop or above the machinery producing the most dust. The fans gently and quietly pull air through the two stage filter removing up to 98% of all particles above 5 microns in size and up to 85% of all particles above 1 micron in size. The infrared remote control unit can be used to turn the filter on/off select between the three speeds and even start a countdown timer. To calculate the suitability of the unit for your workshop, measure the dimensions of the room in metres and multiply them to get the cubic metres. Ideally the air should be filtered at least 6 times in an hour, which gives a maximum room size about the same as a large double garage.
