Both infeed and outfeed steel rollers incorporate a thick vulcanised rubber coating. Not only do they totally eliminate all traces of indentation marks but they greatly enhance the constant smooth feeding of the timber because they grip the wood so efficiently.

View of the cutterblock and rubber coated feed rollers. These eliminate all traces of indentation marks and ensure maximum gripping of the wood when being fed through the thicknesser.Optional attachment for the Plana 7 offers possibility for both slot mortising and drilling.
Stock removal up to 5 mm is adjusted by a single hand movement.

Leitz cutterblock offers quick setting of the planing knives. They are seated automatically to guarantee a perfect finish.
