Jointer Blade Sharpener

Designed to restore blades dulled from normal use, even with minor nicks (commercial sharpening may be necessary for badly nicked blades).
Clamps blades up to 8' wide (including hand-plane blades) for sharpening on PSA-backed abrasives.
After basic sharpening, switch to a fine abrasive to create a micro-bevel.
Two position stops ensure successive blades are honed identically.
Cast aluminum with brass and steel fittings.
Includes a half sheet (5-1/2' x 8-1/2') of 15 micron (approx. 1000 grit) 3M micro-abrasive film.*
Optional glass lapping plate available.
 

*Replacements available in 5 micron or 0.5 micron.
