Dovetail Markers - Pair

Riding ledges on both sides allow these markers to be flipped over to mark both slopes of the dovetail. Designed so the entire ledge is riding on the reference face, even when marking edge dovetails. Measuring 2' x 2' and color-coded to indicate slope and avoid error.

Centre Marker

Used for marking the center of any square or round piece up to 6' across. Ideal for marking work removed from a lathe after waste ends have been removed. This accurate center marker is a precision aluminum die casting with a steel scoring blade. Easy to use: set the material in the marker, tap it and rotate a quarter turn, and tap again.

Carpenters Gauge

Optical Center Punch

Helps accurately establish a crater or dimple that is used as a guide to center a drill bit. Gold-plated brass base holds an 8X optical lens that is positioned over the marked spot. Optical center lens is then replaced with the A2 hardened steel punch. Tap with a hammer to center-punch the workpiece.

Transfer Log Scribe

For transferring the contours of one shape onto another. Designed as a log scribe but also excels as a carpenter's scribe. With a maximum capacity of 12', it is calibrated so that any opening can be used once the double bubbles are set for a given pin and pencil projection.

Beam Compass

Using a single beam section, our beam compass can handle circles from 1-1/2' to 24' in diameter. Additional sections (included) can handle diameters up to 80' for circular tables, rockers, arches, etc. Carbide-tipped points (included) readily scribe metal as well as wood, although the included pencil head is usually used for scribing wood.

Beam Compass Heads

These heads clamp any material between 5/8' and 3/4' thick, of any length. A trapped pin on each clamping knob securely holds the head on the beam. Set includes two brass and aluminum heads with hardened steel points, and a pencil.
