The carpenter's craft and the new ZAF 200 tenoner from Mafell permit theperfect creation of classic woodworking joints. The ZAF 200 machines the full range of tenons fast and accurately, efficiently and within exact tolerances. Be it straight or oblique tenons, corner or ridge half lap joints, you can count on the compact MAFELL ZAF 200 tenoner. The supported length of 3 meters is suitable for timbers measuring 12 5/8 x 7 7/8 in.(320 x 200 mm) with right-angled tenons and 7 7/8 x 7 7/8 in.(200 x 200 mm) with a maximum tilt angle of 60 degrees. For exact length measurements, the stop can be adjusted with reference to a scale. Developed specifically for the ZAF 200, the cutting tool can be rapidly adapted for different tenon lengths and half-lap joints. The ZAF 200 has precision setting options and a clearly laid out control panel. After setting the desired tenon geometry, the cutter head automatically executes the shape of tenon required - including oblique, haunched and chamfered forms. The powerful drive unit reliably meets the high standards required for carpentry. A connection is provided for a suction unit for disposing of the chips created by machining. With its modest space requirement, the ZAF 200 can be readily integrated in the carpenter's shop. The timber is always positioned in the same direction, irrespective of whether right-angled or oblique cuts are being machined.
