How should the ideal cordless rotary hammer be? It should be light, robust and powerful. Just like our KHA 24, the lightest cordless hammer in the 24-Volt class. However, that is not enough: Thanks to its slide-in design, the battery fits tightly and securely in place and can still be easily exchanged with one hand. The battery is located directly underneath the gear housing, which also serves to perfectly balance the KHA 24. The KHA 24 is optionally available with NiCd or Metabo Li-Power batteries, which perform up to 40 % better and last about 100 % longer than conventional batteries. In addition, the KHA 24 is equipped with VTC electronics. This ensures that power remains constant and does not weaken in the middle of a job. Spent batteries are recharged super fast with the ASS 15 Plus AIR-COOLED charger. The KHA 24 is not just ergonomically and technically advanced – it also offers exemplary robustness: Tough jobs are no match for its die-cast aluminium gear housing. It hammers, drills and chisels away at what holds stuff together. As everyone else would also like to have such a hammer – we have made it theft-proof as well. The Metabo CODE! function not only secures the machine, but the battery pack as well. Your KHA 24 can only be operated once you have unlocked it, and your battery pack is protected while it is charging. This is how a cordless rotary hammer should be!
