Micro Adjust Marking Gauge

Hardened steel wheel cuts wood fibers rather than tears, leaving a clean mark, even on cross grain.
The wheel's single-sided bevel pulls the gauge face against the stock, maintaining accuracy.
The wheel retracts into the face of the gauge for storage and protection.
Gauge is easy to set; an internal O-ring keeps light but constant friction on the rod.
The gauge is fitted with a two-stage collet that allows micro-adjustment of the cutting wheel.
Collet has a fine-pitch thread; one revolution advances or retracts the wheel 1/32', a half turn 1/64', a quarter turn 1/128', etc.
Available with either an unmarked rod or a rod graduated to 6' in 16ths.
