The larger the laminated beam, the deeper the mortise cut required. The SG 500 has sufficient reserves to ensure depths of 500 mm(19 11/16 in.) and lengths of 50 mm (1 15/16 in.) with each cut. Wider slots are achieved by adjusting the machine and making a second cutusing the same chain.
