Foliac Manganese Pipe Joint Compound is designed to give a strong joint for high pressure steam. It can be used on water, steam and other gases (except oxygen) and dilute alkalis. If threaded joints have large gaps reinforcement with hemp is recommended.

ROCOL Foliac Graphite Pipe Joint Compound is for use on all threaded pipe joints and on gaskets of flanged joints. Resistant to water, steam, acid, alkali and most industrial gases. Use on joints which are frequently remade. May be thinned with boiled linseed oil.
