Here's why:
The body diameter of only 35 mm makes it easy to handle. The weight of 230 g, quiet and effortless drive are due to the special motor. The ground spindle and collar bearing all contribute to the ergonomic design. The high quality steel collets ensure accurate clamping of the cutters. The size of the machine dictates a 12 V drive system, use of a transformer is required. MICROMOT transformers of at least 1 A are recommended.
Milling/Drilling machine MICROMOT 50/E
The thyristor electronic speed control enables the selection of speeds from 5,000 to 20,000 rpm. Phase angle control and feedback effect circuitry yield high torques, even at low speeds. Six MICROMOT collets for shanks in the range 1.0 - 1.5 - 2.0 - 2.4 - 3.0 and 3.2 mm are supplied. Power consumption is 40 W, max. length 220 mm and weight approx. 230 g.
