The motor now has extra power to make ripping and re-sawing deep material even easier. The table is cast iron of course and has been increased in size to give even greater support to your projects.
A real bonus is the cam action tensioner. With the flick of a handle the tension is released on the blade enabling quick easy changing but, more importantly, when reset, the previous tension is automatically applied to the new blade, making blade changing a much simpler task.
As with the BS350 this machine has increase motor power enabling greater capacities under the guides so deeper material can be cut, but also making general bandsawing much quicker and easier.
An integral wheel kit is also available for the BS300 as an optional extra. This provides a simple and convenient solution for those with limited space, making owning a mid size bandsaw much easier.
