The biggest of our mid-range bandsaws, this floorstander is powerful and well built and very suitable for those with more arduous ripping requirements.
With many features designed to make this an esay machine to use such as the cam action tensioner, this makes blade changing a simple quick operation.
The cast iron table is large and stable providing a solid base and enabling accuracy right up to maximum capacity. The table is finely ground for reduced friction when in use. The machine is driven by a smooth running induction motor with plenty of power to ensure the user can make full use of the maximum depth of cut available.
After all it is the bandsaw?s ability to cut deep material that sets it apart from other machines in the workshop. And of course a narrower blade can still be fitted for more delicate work.
Investment has made throughout the construction of the machine with industrial grade steel being used througout the framework to provide a stable platform. The BS350 has had its bandwheels upgraded to a heavier casting with thicker spokes for additional strength and rigidity.
The cabinet stand has an extra shelf in the cabinet base, this pays divdends throughout the machine by reducing 'twist' in the frame structure, often a problem in taller bandsaws.
