A single-iron tool with no cap iron or chip breaker.
Blade is 1-1/2' wide by 3/16' thick, with a 3' radius for an aggressive cut.
Stress-relieved ductile cast iron body is accurately machined and ground so the sole is flat.
Available with a high-carbon steel blade hardened to Rc58-60 or with an A2 tool steel blade hardened to Rc60-62 for a keener edge that dulls less quickly and is more resistant to chipping.
Sole is 10-3/4' x 2-1/4'.
