The Tormek T7 sharpening system raises the standards of such sharpening systems further and offers a premium sharpening solution. The T7 also offers a 2000W motor, heavy duty steel construction, water-cooled sharpening wheel and leather honing wheel but the kit of accessories has been extended to contain the new TT-50 Truing and Dressing Tool, the SP-650 Stone Grader and the new SE-76 Square Edge Jig which has an increased capacity of 76mm (3") and has safety stops to prevent chisels running off the side of the stone.
Their are a comprehensive range of specialist grinding jigs for the Tormek T7 which makes this the first choice for amateurs and professionals alike. Tools can be sharpened either with the Supergrind wheel cutting towards the edge, or by using the XB100 support base, grinding away from the edge (preferable in some cases, especially with carving tools).
The main tool support bar is fitted with a micro-adjuster which makes setting up or replicating a sharpening angle both easy and highly accurate.
